Full time positions filled

During the period of June 1, 2006 - May 31, 2007 WGTU/WGTQ hired 6 full time employees.

1) The position of Sales Marketing Assistant was posted as of 6/05/06. The position was filled on 8/3/06. WGTU posted this position with all of the referral sources listed below. 5 individuals were interviewed for this position. The individual hired to fill the position was promoted from within the office.

2) The position of Traffic Assistant was posted as of 8/3/06. The position was filled on 8/24/06. WGTU posted this position with all of the referral sources listed below. 4 individuals were interviewed. The individual hired learned of the job opening from a current employee.

3) The position of Account Executive was posted as of 11/16/06. The position was filled on 1/10/07. The position was posted at all of the referral sources detailed below. 2 individuals were interviewed. This individual learned of the job opening through current employee recruitment.

4) The position of Commercial Producer/Promotions was posted as of 7/10/06. The position was filled on 10/9/06. The position was posted at all of the referral sources listed below. 5 individuals were interviewed; with 1 being hired. The individual learned of the open position through advertisement in the Traverse City Record Eagle.

5) The position of Account Executive was posted as of 4/13/07. The position was filled on 4/26/07. The position was posted at all of the referral sources listed below. 1 candidate was interviewed; with 1 being hired. The individual contacted us prior to the position being posted (without knowledge of a pending position).

6) The position of Account Executive was posted as of 8/10/06. The position was filled on 8/14/06. The position was posted at tall of the referral sources detailed below. 1 individual was interviewed. This individual learned of the opening on the Michigan Works web site.

Outreach Activities


During the period of 6/1/06 - 5/31/07 the EEO Coordinator of WGTU/WGTQ attended a job fair on April 25, 2007 at Baker College in Cadillac. 6 resumes were received and forwarded to the Sales Manager and/or filed for future job openings.
